Owner and Founder

Andrew has been living and working in Loudoun County since 2004. He previously worked at Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland and Binh Tran’s Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine in Washington, DC. Having had enough of the city, he decided to take his brand of physical therapy out to the suburbs of Virginia where he opened his first PT clinic, Arthritis and Sports Physical Therapy (in Sterling). After two years there he decided it was time to go out on his own in 2006 and set up AID Performance Physical Therapy.
Andrew spends a vast amount of his time ensuring your treatment plans keep pace with the rapid advancements that make physical therapy so effective and such a ‘go-to’ profession for people aged 35-64.
Andrew previously had his own podcast titled The Get Back With Dombek Podcast, which brings his followers insight, inspiration, expertise, and education from the leading sports medicine experts, coaches, trainers, the country’s’ most talented athletes, and beyond. These days he spends his time making instructional and informational videos as well as hosting in person clinic on the same topics and subjects he covered in his podcast. Check out his various social media channels like @drdink_PT on TikTok.
Andrew famously worked with many of Washington DC’s finest from the everyman up to the titans of industry and politics. Also while at PTSM he had the opportunity to work exclusively with some of the finest athletes and performers who were in town performing at Kennedy Center.
Andrew enjoys working with athletes of all ages, currently he is helping out his daughter’s travel soccer club The St. James FC Virginia of the Girls Academy League and previously volunteered his services to a few of the high schools in Loudoun County.
He does not limit himself to just his daughter and her club/teammates, he proudly works with many of the top athletes from the surrounding Ashburn high schools like Briar Woods, Broad Run, Rockridge, Riverside, Loudoun County, Loudoun Valley, Woodgrove, Potomac Falls, PVI, John Champe, Freedom, Independence, and Stone Bridge. He is a specialist in treating the lower back, hip, knee, ankle and shoulder. injuries and dysfunction.
Andrew is excellent at empathizing with his clients as he has lived through a myriad of injuries in his life including breaking his ankle, wrist and thumb, spraining his ankles, wrists and shoulders, straining his lower back, neck, quads and hamstrings, pulled and torn muscles, as well as undergoing lower back surgery at 17 (ending his football playing career) and knee surgery to repair a torn meniscus. Having been through all of these injuries throughout out his life,
Andrew is a rare expert in understanding the psyche of returning to your sport after injury. Helping people stay active and giving back to his community are his passions. These characteristics have helped Andrew become an expert Physical Therapist and his clinic become the premier clinic for runners in Northern Virginia.
Andrew is a very proud Dad of a beautiful girl named Eden, and when he’s not at work, or spending time with his daughter, you can likely find him playing pickleball, in the gym, on his bike, at the lake fishing, boating or SUP, golfing, or out on the streets running. In the past Andrew coached his daughter’s basketball and recreational soccer teams.
Fact: Ask Andrew about how he helped a young baseball Pitcher become the first major league pitcher to ever come back from a medial flexor tendon (the muscles on the inside of his right elbow) re-attachment procedure.

Alicia Haas

Born and raised in Coral Springs, FL, Alicia moved to Ashburn, VA her sophomore year of high school. She currently resides in Centreville, VA with her husband and energetic German Shorthaired Pointer. Alicia graduated with her Bachelors of Science degree in Athletic Training from James Madison University in 2015, before earning her Masters of Science degree in Rehabilitation Science from Lasell University in May 2020.
Alicia grew up playing soccer, swimming and was an avid bowler. After sustaining quite a few injuries in high school, Alicia was introduced to her high school athletic trainer, who ultimately helped spark a passion for orthopedic injuries and athletic training as a career path. Since 2015 Alicia was an athletic trainer in the high school setting, starting as the Assistant Athletic Trainer and working her way to Head Athletic Trainer at Bishop O’Connell High School in Arlington, VA. Alicia says being an athletic trainer is such a unique profession as she gets to take a patient through the entire injury process; from the initial on-field encounter, to the education of the injury and rehabilitation process, to the final stage of return to sport. Alicia is a Graston Level One Provider and an American Heart Association CPR/AED Instructor. She has taught Sports Medicine classes at the high school level and enjoys educating her patients on all aspects of their injury experience on a level they can understand. While Alicia loves the on-field experience, she’s very excited to be able to use her rehabilitation knowledge in the clinic setting and hopes to expand her patient population to help her grow as a clinician. She will become Dry Needle Certified through MyoPain Seminars and can’t wait to learn more about post-op treatments and rehabilitations.
